River Shannon Shawl |
I have been busy getting the shawl knit up so I can get a FO picture of it for the pattern. A lovely lady in Germany found me on Ravelry and is helping test and fix up the written pattern. The internet is a wonderful way to meet people! I have learned more about pattern writing in the last 24 hours than I ever imagined. I am thankful.
With luck and my ability to get things done, I will have an official pattern testing thread going at Ravelry in the next day or so. I am excited.
Blue Sky before the Mayday leaves come out |
I took the knitting outside to photograph in the natural light, and was soon distracted by the drip drip dripping of melting snow. What a wonderful thing it is to stop and look around at the visible signs of spring! Snow and ice melting will soon mean ( and I know, soon means months away still... ) the grass will green up again.

I've been reading lots about crystals and their healing powers in The Crystal Bible, by Judy Hall. I've had this book for years and every now and then pull it out to look up the name or properties of a crystal. Its beautiful.
I am joining Ginny in the Yarn along and also the bloghop at Tilly's Nest.
Enjoy your day!
